Effective Date: January 15, 2026
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms of Service is to prescribe the conditions and procedures for using the ‘Supercoder AI Interview Service’ (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by Second Team Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") for applicants (hereinafter referred to as the "Candidate").
Article 2 (Protection of Personal and Sensitive Information)
Data Hosting: The Candidate's interview data (including video and audio) is stored and managed in a secure region within the Republic of Korea (Seoul Region).
Consent for Sensitive Information: Due to the nature of video interviews, sensitive information (biometric data) such as facial features and voice data will be collected. The Company obtains explicit, separate consent for this, and the Candidate has the right to refuse. However, refusal to consent may result in restrictions on using the Service (taking the interview).
Data Protection: The Company encrypts and safely stores the Candidate's data and does not use it for purposes other than recruitment.
Article 3 (Nature of AI Evaluation and Right to Request Explanation)
Supplementary Analysis Tool: The AI in this Service performs a supportive role by structuring and analyzing the Candidate's responses to generate a report.
Final Decision Maker and Subject of Inquiry:
The final authority responsible for deciding the pass/fail status of a Candidate is the Hiring Company (the Client) to which the Candidate applied.
Therefore, if a Candidate wishes to request an explanation or a re-evaluation of the AI interview results or the hiring decision, they must contact the relevant department of the Hiring Company (the Client).
Non-existence of Fully Automated Decision-making: As the final decision is made through a human review by the Hiring Company’s manager, this Service does not constitute a "fully automated decision" under Article 37-2 of the Personal Information Protection Act. However, the Company provides technical cooperation to ensure the Hiring Company can respond to the Candidate's inquiries effectively.
Article 4 (Obligations of the Candidate)
Personal Participation: Candidates must participate in the interview personally. Any misconduct, such as proxy testing, abnormal responses using generative AI, or system manipulation, will result in the invalidation of the results and potential disadvantages in the hiring process.
Prohibition of Information Leakage: Candidates must not capture, record, or leak interview questions or system screens to external parties (communities, SNS, etc.) or use them for commercial purposes. Such actions constitute a violation of the Company’s intellectual property and the Hiring Company's recruitment confidentiality.
Environment Preparation: Candidates are responsible for preparing a stable network environment and a functioning camera/microphone. The Company is not responsible for any interruptions caused by the Candidate's device failure.
Article 5 (Age Restriction)
The Service is intended for Candidates who are 14 years of age or older. Use of the Service by individuals under the age of 14 is, in principle, restricted.
Article 6 (Limitation of Liability)
The Company shall not be held liable for Service interruptions caused by force majeure, such as natural disasters or telecommunication failures.
While the Company strives to maintain objectivity in AI analysis, it does not guarantee the absence of errors caused by the test environment (lighting, background noise, etc.).
Article 7 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
